Team Philosophy
The Superior Racing Project is dedicated to fostering a supportive and challenging training and competition environment where athletes can achieve their personal best.
We aim to:
-
Develop strong physical capacity and competitive excellence
-
Strengthen athletes technical and tactical ability
-
Promote mental well-being and balance
-
Cultivate a lifelong love for the sport and build lasting friendships and team camaraderie, while adding value to the local and national ski scene.
-
We value respect, communication, and transparency.
-
We encourage a blend of autonomy and coach-driven training.
-
We are an athlete-driven team. Team members will be integral in decision making regarding the race calendar, budget, training schedule, and staffing. Athletes will be responsible for contributing to team functions including apparel, fundraising, trip planning, equipment management, and social media.
-
We strive for positive team dynamics. Athletes working together and pushing teammates to work hard and acheive their personal best.
-
We integrate the principles of SafeSport in everything we do. SafeSport principles are respected and strictly adhered to.
-
We always have fun. Fast is fun. We enjoy the process of improvement.
